I’m starting to feel like me again. Since lunchtime monday, I’ve finished two books. I enjoyed them, they didn’t make me think of you, they didn’t remind me of what we’d lost, what I’d lost. This week, I didn’t feel dizzy at talk of due dates and the buzzed excitement from the kids as they told me mummy’s new secret. Its finally clicked that its okay to accept it, to be excited for the future and all the amazing things that will come my way. I’m sorry it happened, it’s still there but I feel like me again and it’s nice.

there is so much beauty in this world, just nobody to appreciate it.

it’s been 2 and a half weeks since I’ve been back and I’m still missing Vanuatu as if it was my home. the past four nights I’ve dreamt of being back there, running and dancing with the kids, joking with Jeff and seeing sams amazing smile. I miss seth’s big bear hugs and being surrounded by all his knowledge and love. they are my home, they are my happiness and they are my family
